HWANGHAKDONG 2007–2014

Hwanghakdong and Dongdaemun underwent the demolition and relocation of street vendors during the restoration of Cheonggyecheon and the surrounding urban redevelopment. In Hwanghakdong and beneath the Cheonggye Elevated Highway were secondhand and antique markets known as Manmul Market, the Flea Market, and Dokkaebi Market. The project ⌜HWANGHAKDONG⌟ consists of 〈HWANGHAKDONG BOTTARI〉, 〈HWANGHAK STRATUM〉, 〈THE HISTORY OF HWANGHAKDONG〉, 〈DONGDAEMUN〉, 〈CHEONGGYECHEON INSOMNIA〉, and 〈CHEONGGYECHEON CHRONICLE〉.
